A-Level Spanish Speaking Practice

Here you will find a range of resources to help you succeed in the A-Level Spanish speaking exam.

PART 1 - STIMULUS CARD DISCUSSION:

  • You will be given two cards and each card is based on a sub-theme that you have studied.
  • You choose one of the two cards.
  • Cards will contain images, text and three questions.
  • Your teacher will ask you the questions during the discussion.
  • You must ask your teacher two questions arising from the material on the card. These must take the form of seeing information or an opinion. Asking for repetition or clarification will not meet the requirement. Your questions must contain a conjugated verb. Rephrasing or repetition of the printed questions will not meet the requirement.
  • You may make notes during the 5 minute supervised preparation time prior to the assessment and may refer to these notes during the discussion of the sub-theme.

  • This part of the speaking exam will last 5-6 minutes and is worth 25 marks
