Concert dress is ALL BLACK. All students will wear a black suit (suit jacket/blazer and long pants) with sleeves that go to the wrist and pants that go to the ankle.
Shirt
Crew neck blouse OR a long sleeve collared shirt.
Midriffs and shoulders must be completely covered.
Shoes & Socks
Close-toed dress shoes.
Flats or a 1” heel are acceptable.
Long socks as appropriate
Hair
Should be out of students’ eyes and worn in a professional manner.
Any accessories should be discreet.
Optional
Long black tie - to be worn with a collared shirt that is buttoned completely
The dress code for the Chamber Concerts, Concert “On the Common”, and Graduation is business casual and colorful. Midriffs and shoulders must be completely covered. Skirts/dresses must touch the knee when standing. Please no t-shirts, jeans, tank tops, or flip-flops.
The dress code for Memorial Day is sneakers, khaki pants, a plain white t-shirt, and a KP Music Program polo shirt (provided).
If finances prevent you from purchasing any of the above please speak with your director. We want you to feel comfortable on stage so you can focus on making music at the highest level.
