How can I help make the Green Gator school day even greater?
Green Gators love FLEX time! Scheduled during the lunch block, this 23-minute FLEX time can be used for additional instruction, intervention, community-building, silent sustained reading, or indoor/outdoor recess and movement.
There are two ways you can help make FLEX time even Greater for our Gators:
Gently used donations can be dropped off at the main office. Please label it: Green Gator FLEX. We are looking for items such as board games, card games, outdoor balls (Nerf-like), 3-D puzzle games (for individual use, like Rubik’s cubes), or small jigsaw puzzles.
My student is behind in their classwork! How can I help them get caught up?
Students have several opportunities to get caught up on their academics!
Most students have SAT (student assisted time) every day or every other day.
There is at least one teacher from our team available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to help students with content-specific questions, 2:15 to 2:50pm.
Homework Club is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 2:15 to 3:15pm.
What does "M" mean on Infinite Campus?
An "M" means that an assignment is "missing" but the student can still turn it in. Keep in mind that late work may not be accepted for full credit. Students should speak to their teachers if they have questions about missing assignments.
My student claims they have no homework. How can I be sure?
Check the Gator Homework Board! If your student says, "Ya, ya, ya, it's finished," then ask them to talk to you about their assignments. Talking through their learning is a great way study tool!
My student's chrome book is broken. How will they finish their homework?
If possible, students should log in to Google through a family member's device or complete assignments on paper.
