Kingdom Klean Sanitation Services provides route, haul-off, and clean-out services from Monday through Friday. Trash collection routes begin each day at 6:00 a.m. and continue until all routes are completed. Landfills close at 4:00 p.m., so all loads must be unloaded before this time. Customers are notified that their pick-up times will adjust and not to rely on a certain time each week. They should have garbage retreived between 6:00am-4:00pm. If garbage has not been picked-up by then, customers should contact our main office before 5pm.
Haul-off and clean-out services are scheduled according to agreements between the property owner, assigned workers, and the client. Additional services are generally scheduled for Monday afternoons and Fridays.
Kingdom Klean Sanitation Service, LLC serves Surry County. The weekly trash limit is four 30-gallon bags or ten 15-gallon bags (up to 150 gallons total) per week. Bi-weekly clients are limited to two 30-gallon bags or six 15-gallon bags per week. In accordance with safety requirements, no loose trash will be retrieved unless the client has called in advance and paid an additional fee to cover the costs of PPE (personal protective equipment).
In accordance with the state of North Carolina, garbage must not travel across county lines and the corresponding landfill to that county must be used. This is why Kingdom Klean has different prices per county as it directly relates to the landfill fees associated with that county.
In accordance with the state of North Carolina, the following items are prohibited in the landfill: used oil, oil filters, yard debris, antifreeze, lead-acid batteries, needles, and hazardous medical supplies. Sharp objects or broken glass must be placed in a lidded container before being bagged.

In caring for the environment, customers are recommended to separate recyclables into labeled bags. Plastics should be bagged separately from aluminum. Cardboard must be flattened, limited to five small or medium boxes (including soda boxes) per week. Larger or excessive amounts incur extra charges.
If you want to be extra environmentally concious, there are a few biodegradable garbage bag option available at Wal-Mart & Target in the trash bag section. These bags are smaller & thinner. We only recommend them for holding plastics & crushed aluminum cans. The contents can be recycled & the garbage bag will be able to naturally decompose in the landfill.
Make sure all your trashy treasures are waiting at the designated pick-up spot by 5:00 a.m. in the designated pick-up location.
Disabled or handicapped clients (as recognized by the state), veterans, and those over 65 may arrange a designated trash location at their upper driveway. Exceptions in the title include customers that have very long driveways or live in an area that is potentially dangerous such as sharp curves, busy road-fronts, or rough roads. Customers are required to sign a liability release form to give Kingdom Klean Sanitation Services, LLC permission to use their driveway.
Our employees do their best to avoid driving in the yard or avoiding yard ornaments/mailboxes. Please, know that our trucks have large boxes that can make backing-out a challenge. If for any reason our trucks run off the driveway or into yard ornaments- you are releasing our company from the responsibility of fixing or replacing those items.
Kingdom Klean workers are not allowed to retrieve garbage inside of the home or buildings for security purposes.
The designated location is a mutually agreed spot on the route from which workers will collect trash. The designated location may be near the home but must be easily accessible. Trash in other locations will not be collected. Kingdom Klean sanitation employees are not responsible for retrieving trash from any other location.
Customer weekly service date is determined by the area they live in and how the route is laid out. As routes are re-evaluated, customer designated date is subject to change. If a change occurs, customers will be notified via the information they provided upon sign up. Although Kingdom Klean tries to avoid changing pick-up days as much as possible to create customer satisfaction and stability. Sanitation workers will not retrieve a customer’s trash on a different day than their scheduled day.
To practice environmental conservation and avoid additional filling of the landfills, Kingdom Klean Sanitation Services sends invoices through email. For customers without email, our sanitation workers deliver invoices to the door.
Customers may pay monthly, quarterly, or annually using credit, debit, check, or money order. Invoices can be sent by email or delivered to your door for your convenience. You may also pay your bill over the phone during our office hours or choose to set up automatic payments for worry-free service.
To set up automatic payments, please contact our office at 336-778-3936. Have your preferred payment method ready when you call. Our staff will guide you step-by-step through the enrollment process and confirm your automatic payment activation.

At Kingdom Klean, we recognize that unexpected weather conditions can sometimes disrupt our regular operations. Safety is our top priority, and when severe weather occurs, it may be necessary to cancel or reschedule pick-up days. In such cases, please be aware that we do not provide refunds for any delays or missed collections that result from these unforeseen circumstances.
To minimize unnecessary interruptions to our customers’ busy schedules, we typically do not issue notifications for delayed service. Customers will only be contacted directly if there is a route closure or a need to reschedule service.
If severe weather prevents us from retrieving garbage until the following week, Kingdom Klean will waive overage fees for the regular weekly limit. However, any trash that exceeds the additional weekly limit will still be subject to overage fees. To ensure efficient collection, all trash must be securely bagged and placed at the designated garbage location.
Whenever possible, please keep garbage bags dry. Wet garbage bags can become significantly heavier, which may make it difficult for our sanitation workers to lift them safely. Excess weight also increases the risk of bag breakage or injury to our staff. By keeping bags dry and properly secured, you help us maintain safe and efficient service.
Sometimes your pets think our sanitation workers are stealing your valuable garbage. For the safety of both animals and KKSS employees, clients must ensure all animals are secure on pick-up days. If an animal is found loose and displays threatening behavior (charging, biting, barking, or growling), sanitation workers are required to return to their truck and contact the office.
If the client cannot be reached to secure the animal, trash collection will be postponed until the following week. In such cases, the office will notify the client with instructions to secure the animal for all scheduled pick-ups, ensuring everyone understands the necessary steps to resolve the issue. If, during future visits, the sanitation worker observes an animal loose on the property, they have the right to continue driving and refrain from entering the driveway to prevent disturbing the animal.
Safety for both staff and the pets you love remain our top priority.
Trash bags should be able to be lifted up to your waist one-handed. If you are unable, then the bag is too heavy. It is at the discretion of the sanitation worker to determine if a bag is too heavy (within reason). If the worker is unable to lift the bag one-handed to their waist, they are required to leave the (secured) bag behind.
Customers are advised to distribute the contents between two bags. The bags will be retrieved the following week on regular pick-up schedule.
Customers will still be charged for the trip if the sanitation worker stopped at the property, but the customer did not have garbage at the designated location.
If a client’s check bounces, service is suspended immediately. The client is notified and must pay the original amount owed plus a $25.00 fee to restore service. If the customer has more than one bounced check, they will be required to pay by credit/debit card or money order to continue service. Non-paying clients are removed from the route and evaluated for reinstatement. Service does not resume until these conditions are met.
To avoid being charged for the next month, customers are required to notify and receive confirmation of cancellation prior the first day of the next month. For example, customer received service in January but wants to cancel. They must notify and receive confirmation from our office by January 31.
If your payment delays past the 14-day mark, we hit the pause button on your service. You'll get a friendly nudge at 7 days and another at 14 days before services are paused until you're ready to comeback!
Kingdom Klean may refuse service due to potential threats, suspicious activity, repeated non-payment, or inappropriate conduct. Discovery of illegal substances in trash or in areas accessible to workers results in immediate termination and notification of authorities.
