Meet our Tour Guide
Hello! My name is Astacio Santiago. I was born in the city of Guayama, Puerto Rico, located at the Southeastern coast. Migrated to New York City at the age of 11 and studied the grades of Junior and Senior School. Joined the United States Air Force during the peak of the Vietnam War, returning to Puerto Rico upon ending the service. Began my studies for a Bachelor's degree at the Catholic University of Puerto Rico, later obtaining a Master's Degree in Business Administration from New Hampshire College. Worked 33 years full time with General Elric, Co in Puerto Rico and part time as University Professor with the Catholic University of Puerto Rico. Started a new career as a Tour Guide and Tour Director in 2010 and am licensed by the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico National Park Service. I am married and have two children.
