Kids Need Music and Art!

Music and art exposure does more than provide a creative outlet for kids; they provide mental, emotional, and educational benefits.

Boost Brain Power

Researchers have claimed that listening to classical music can help people perform tasks more efficiently. This theory, dubbed “the Mozart Effect,” suggests that listening to classical composers can enhance brain activity and act as a catalyst for improving health and well-being.

Improve Academics

A new study found a link between arts elective courses in music, dance, visual art and drama, and better grades in middle school. The study followed a large and diverse sample of preschool children up until they completed sixth, seventh and eighth grade.

Enhance Creativity

Art engages children on many different levels as it supports eye-hand coordination, creativity, and visual learning, among other developmental skills. And children often enjoy making art, even if it's only for a few minutes at a time.
