Um. KiHyun is an assistant professor of operations management at the school of management, PuKyong National University, Korea, where he has been a faculty member since 2021. He completed his Ph. D. at KyungHee University.

His research interests lie in the area of supply chain management, inter-organizational relationships, and healthcare services evaluation, ranging from theory buildings to empirical analysis. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines.

He has published research articles in leading journals such as International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, and International Journal of Project Management.
