MI Future Educator Stipend

While this is a specialized award, FAFSA is often part of eligibility for state aid.

While specific FAFSA requirement may differ, state guidance suggests filing FAFSA is key for state aid eligibility in MI. wmich.edu
Tuition Incentive Program (TIP)
Encourages students to complete high school and then attend college; for qualifying students who had Medicaid coverage for 24 months etc. wmich.edu+1
FAFSA often required or strongly recommended — school’s aid office should confirm.
Michigan GEAR UP Scholarship

FAFSA plays a role (for related postsecondary aid), so filing it is wise if you plan to use state/federal aid.
