LIBRARY ACTIVITIES
YEAR 2024-25
=> The College Library has taken the students for visit to University Library BMK Knowledge Research center, Juhu Branch, on 8th Sept. 23 the student were given a guided tour of the Research Centre Library.
=>The College Library initiated a Community Service Programme on 27th Sept. 2023, we have called few children from the adjacent community to the College Library to read books, motivate them and cultivate reading habit.
=> The Reading Pledge iniatiated by the Ministry of Culture Govt. Of India. The Librarian went to various classes to make students to take the Reading Pledge and also informed the students about the benefits of Reading.
=> A workshop was conducted for the Teaching Staff by the Librarian on the topic " E-Resource Searching Skills" on 1st January 2024.
=>The College Library initiated a Community Service Programme on 12th July 2023, we have called few children from the adjacent community to the College Library to read books, motivate them and cultivate reading habit.
=>The College Library had organized the celebrations of Birth Anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan the Father of Library Science on 12th August 2023. A Book Review Competition was held in the Library on 12th August 2023 at 10.00 am.
=> The Library Department like every year this also conducted the Library Orientation Programmes in the FY B.Com section on 21st, 22nd & 24th August 2023.
=>The College Library had organized a Book Bank Distribution Programme which was sponsored by Bharat Vikas Parishad. The members of the trust came to the College Library on 23rd August 2023 for the Distribution of Books at 9.30 am.
YEAR 2022-23
=> The Library Department & IQAC had organised a “Lecture cum Training Programme on Soft Skills” on 29th March, 2023 at 12.00 noon to 1.00pm in the Computer Lab.
=>The Library Department organised a Book Talk by the Author Mr. Harvinder Singh the author of a Best Seller Book “ The Winning Leader”on 13th July 2022
=>On the Occasion of Birthday of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan the Father of Library and Information Science the College Library organsied a Book Display on 12th August 2022.
=>Library Orientation Held During the last week of July 2022.
=>Book Bank Distribution held in the College Library on 14 July 2022.
YEAR 2021-22
=>International Women's Day Book Display, Theme: Gender Equality held in College Library on 8th March, 2022.
=>"Online Certificate Designing workshop & Orientation of the library website" was conducted by the Library Department and Planning Forum on 23rd Feb 2022
=>PRE-IAS Guidance programme on 16th December 2021
