Hello, my name is Heather Mims. I am excited to be teaching Physical Education at Potomac Elementary School again this year. This will be my 7th year teaching for King George County Public Schools. I had previously taught for 2 years at King George High School. 

I am originally from King George and I myself attended PES for K-6th grade. After graduating from KGHS in 2013, I went on to attend James Madison University, where I received my Masters in Physical Health Education and Teaching Education for Pre K-12th grade in 2018.

My passion is staying healthy and activity in a variety of ways and I hope you help you find that same passion.
