The Plan

The Plan is to save the book store. Similar to the plot of the movie shine, we seek to save the historic center piece of our community. Yes, gentrification is happening but that does not mean we are powerless to stop it. Below is the trailer to the movie "Shine", Eric Perry has requested that we all watch the movie as it relates to what we are seeking to do with L.E.M.S.

Shine (2017)

Synopsis: Two Puerto Rican brothers from New York's Spanish Harlem and the street's best Salsa dancers, are separated after a tragedy only to reunite years later on opposing sides of gentrification.
