Grading in the Studio

Rubric Based Grading made EASY

To make sure we're all on the same page, I've included our intro presentation when coming into the studio!  We have daily studio points (15 pts a week total - under the practice heading), practice worksheets, country worksheets if your student is in Visual Culture, and our big assessment grades are the rubrics for each main project we complete. EVERY project is 20 points, with 5 points always being craftsmanship - better known as the pride taken in their artwork. The other 15 points are all measurable categories and can be found in PowerSchool under the assignment description for parents, but they are also always displayed and included in Google Classroom for students to have for reference (each rubric is under the project topic to stay organized.)
