Current Practices & Artifacts

-Battle of the Books program for students

-Provide flexibility and variety in the library collection:

  • Multiple formats of reading materials--print books, ebooks (own & consortium), audiobooks (playaway, digital, cd), online databases, e-edition newspapers, and bookshare site
  • Multiple devices--chromebooks, ipads, headphones, cameras, DVD's, and tech equipment
  • Various fiction genres, narrative non-fiction, informational non-fiction, graphic novels, local materials, reference, magazines, newspapers, and journal articles

-Increase the diversity of the library collections

-Increase the access to high interest texts in all classes

-Building student and staff reading confidence and responsibility
