Field Period 2021

For this Field Period I did research on crime rates and deviant activity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I looked to relate my research and explain my research through Strain Theory. I connected a hypothesis about deviant and criminal behavior during the pandemic to Robert Merton's Strain Theory. I did research on how the stay at home order has affected adolescents and adults behavior to change due to the change in environment.
