Project Based Field Period: For my Summer 2020 Field Period I opted to do the project based option because the COVID-19 pandemic impacted going out into the field to do a regular field period. Overall I had a very educational experience with this Field Period. I completed two projects, a Career Exploration Project and a Professional Experience Project.

This was a 70 hour project. For this project I did research into careers that are available to me in the criminal justice field. I found jobs that highly interested me as well as jobs that I did not find interesting. I interviewed an ex-cop and learned a lot from him. Professional Experience Project:

This project was a 70 hour project. For this project I started off by researching the environments of jobs in the criminal justice field and what I should expect when i get a job in the field. I had an interview with an ex- cop which lead me to do research into the field of criminal justice social work and helped me devise a plan to obtain a degree in Criminal Justice as well as Social Work.
