"I Kesem for the support system and community that it provides for those who need it. When I was 10 years old, my mother passed away from breast cancer. When I began my Kesem journey as a camper a few years later, I was immediately wrapped up in the positivity and unfailing love that it provides for its campers. Kesem gave me a space to feel like a child again and I knew, after my first session of Kesem, that I would go to college and become a counselor so I could help spread the Kesem love. "

"I want to ensure that our campers always have a supportive community that is always ready to offer a level of understanding and sympathy that they typically cannot otherwise find back home with the overall goal of providing them with space to simply be kids, even if just for a single week."

"Kesem is one of the most inspiring, empowering, and rewarding communities I have ever been a part of. The counselors and coordinating team have huge hearts, and the kids we work with are filled with energy and magic, even though they have gone through unimaginable hardship. I've gotten to witness real love, hope, and magic, and Kesem truly gives me hope for the future of the world."
