What is Friends and Family Day?

Friends and Family Day, often called FFD, is a chance for campers, camper families, counselors, and members of the Kesem community to spend time together. Kids and counselors play games and sing camp songs while parents and caregivers have a chance to meet other Kesem families and learn more about Kesem's services. For returning campers, families, and counselors, FFD is a reunion, reminding us of the strength of our supportive network throughout the year. For new individuals, FFD is a place to learn more about what Kesem is like and experience firsthand its transformative effect on everyone involved.

Kesem at Yale University hosts two FFDs annually, one for each semester. Spring FFD will be on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 1:00-4:00pm. Returning camper families and community contacts have been sent an RSVP form. Families who have not received the invitation to our spring FFD should contact yale.outreach@kesem.org.
