Q: Who can Join?

A: Membership in the Central Section Association of Athletic Directors (CSAAD) is typically open to individuals involved in high school and middle school athletics administration. Those who may qualify to join include:

• Athletic Directors – Primary leaders overseeing school athletic programs.

• Assistant Athletic Directors – Individuals supporting the management of school sports programs.

• Coaches & Administrators – School personnel involved in the development and operation of athletic programs.

• School Principals & District Officials – Leaders who play a role in athletics governance and policy.

• Retired Athletic Directors – Former administrators who want to stay connected and mentor others.

• Other Sports Professionals – Individuals working in related fields, such as sports medicine, officiating, or athletic event coordination.

Q: How will you benefit?

A: CSAAD plays a crucial role in advocacy and representation, ensuring that athletic directors have a voice in state and local policy discussions. The association works to secure funding, resources, and fair regulations that support school sports programs and keep athletics a priority in education.

Additionally, CSAAD fosters networking and collaboration among athletic directors, providing opportunities to share ideas, solutions, and experiences. A: Membership for current Athletic Directors in the Central Section is $100 annually. Past Athletic Directors is $50 annually.
