Did you know that practicing gratitude can make your brain work better? Research has showed that people who express gratitude on a regular basis are healthier, happier, more optimistic, make more progress toward their goals, have a greater sense of well-being, are more helpful to others and so much more! It can take as little as 3 minutes to journal gratitude and it is incredibly powerful. Check out what some of the TDS Staff said they are grateful for & see the video below.

I am grateful to have patient, understanding, and forgiving friends. I am grateful for my parents who help make me who I am today. I am grateful that God made me who I am and gave me what I have.
Mrs. Jill Harrison- . I start my day every morning thanking God for all I have , right now my health and health of my loved ones is at the top of the list along with employment.
Ms. Lauretta Eldridge- When I wake up every morning, I do not check my phone or turn on the television.
For about ten minutes I meditate, say a morning prayer thanking Jesus for his many blessings and think about my day. I make sure to remind myself of at least three things I am grateful for. I also remind myself that today is going to be a great day!!! Some days are not so great, but because of a positive attitude it is easier to cope with any adversity that may come my way. I end my day with a grateful prayer.
If I have things on my mind, I have a pen and paper right next to my bed and I write down what I am thinking. This helps me concentrate on sleeping instead of whatever is going through my head.
