Welcome to MakeKeowee!
Celebrating our first full year of operation, MakeKeowee is a vibrant Makerspace serving Oconee County. Created by Keowee Krafters Org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are located within the Eagles Nest Art Center in Salem, SC.
Our community of artisans and makers continues to grow, and we are thrilled to announce our expanded facilities. We now offer dedicated, well-equipped spaces for a variety of disciplines, including:
Woodshop & Woodturning: Fully equipped for everything from furniture building to lathe work.
Fiber Arts Room: A dedicated space for fiber arts, quilting, and garment construction.
Multipurpose Room: Flexible space for painting, card arts, robotics, and meeting sessions.
High-Tech Tools: 3D printing, laser cutting, and engraving stations.
