VIS-UV Spectroscopic Ellipsometer
Using a rotating analyzer, this J. A. Woollam instrument can obtain ellipsometry spectra from 190 nm to 1800 nm. Besides generalized ellipsometry, it has the ability to perform Mueller Matrix-based ellipsometry.
IR Spectroscopic Ellipsometer
This J. A. Woollam ellipsometer uses a Michelson interferometer to obtain a spectral range between 2000 nm to 40,000 nm. It can also perform Mueller Matrix-based ellipsometry.
Fourier Transform IR-Spectrometer
The state-of-the-art Bruker Vertex 80v (vacuum) FTIR spectrometer uses a series of beam splitters and detectors (including a Si bolometer) to obtain spectra between 10 cm-1 and 12,000 cm-1 (1 meV to 1.5 eV). The instrument has a resolution of 0.06 cm-1..

Cryostats
Two custom-built Janis cryostats can be incorporated with the UV-Vis and IR ellipsometers. We also have an Oxford cryostat that couples to the Bruker FTIR spectrometer.
