This course will discuss and utilize basic food preparation techniques, safety, time management, sanitary, and teamwork skills. Students will analyze how food choices affect meal planning and personal well-being. The course will place an emphasis on My Plate as it relates to the basic food groups and nutrients.
This course will provide an overview of the various subjects within the Family and Consumer Science department. It will focus on personality, time management, career choices, financial literacy, nutrition, cooking, fashion, current issues, relationships, and human development.
