a quick word on meetings
As we plan and arrange your trip, we'll start out with two informational meetings for anybody interested in traveling. These meeting dates are always communicated well ahead of time. If you came to one of these meetings, great! If you're unable to attend, don't worry! We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Just drop us an email.
And of course - you can STILL go!
Just get on the mailing list and get signed up following the steps above.
Stay tuned for our upcoming informational meetings for 2025. Look for an email and/or announcement about those meetings in the shortly after winter break.
Our final meeting usually takes place about three weeks to a month out from travel. We ask that all travelers make every effort to be at this meeting. This is where we'll take care of travel-critical matters such as travel document verifications, student travel forms, student medicinal needs, et cetera.
one last thing... fundraising
We are often asked about fundraising opportunities for the trip. While we're not opposed to larger group opportunities, we've found, through various attempts in the past, that many of the traditional fundraisers were a whole lot of work for very little return. Candle, chocolate, or other tchotchke sales often leave kids frustrated and parents stuck with the lion's share of the work. We won't do that to them or you.
We're always open to hearing about new opportunities but our best advice about fundraising is to get a part-time job (if possible), shovel snow, rake leaves, and so on.
If you have other ideas, we're more than happy to chit chat. Drop us an email and we can set up a time for a call.
