About me:
My name is Mrs. Renee Willoughby. This is my third year teaching full time at Kenton Elementary and my 16th year working in education. Before coming to Kenton Elementary I worked at River Ridge with preschool students in a special education classroom. I earned my associates degree in early childhood education from Gateway Community College and earned my bachelors degree in elementary education from Asbury University. I am excited to be teaching third grade this year and I know it is going to be packed full of exciting learning opportunities that will keep your child actively engaged!
There are a few things I’d like to share to help you get to know me better. I grew up in Independence and graduated from Simon Kenton. I have two sisters, Amanda and Mckaylah and two brothers, Frank and Daniel, all whom have attended Kenton County Schools and graduated from Simon Kenton. I also have 10 nieces and nephews! I currently live in Crittenden with my husband of 19 years, David, our son Dylan, and our spoiled dog, Hopey. Dylan is 17 and graduated from Simon Kenton last year. My family loves to be together and we love all activities outside. We enjoy camping, racing, boating, and trail riding. I love to laugh and have fun and we will do a lot of that this year in my class. I know it is going to be a fun and exciting year!
