It is our goal for all of our Third Grade mathematicians to be critical thinkers that are comfortable using numbers in their everyday lives. Students work individually, in small groups, as well as in whole class situations and we focus on differentiating for all student levels. Each week, the students do math centers, have math homework, and need to be practicing the math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). The expectation this year is for Third Graders to memorize all addition and subtraction facts up to 20 and multiplication and division facts up to 10.
