Types of Activities

We try to schedule one or two activities each month. 

Example: In Fall, we worked with residents at Danbury Senior Living to decorate a Christmas tree that we donated to Akron Children’s Hospital for their 43rd Annual Tree Festival. The festival featured 156 trees this year, and each tree got purchased, with all proceeds going directly to the hospital. 

Example: A collaboration between KSU students, the Danbury community, and Asian Services, where older adults and children from refugee families create Christmas gifts (Tie-Dye Tote Bags) for each other. This project is extra special because it includes three generations -- KSU students, Danbury residents, and KG-5th graders.
