My name is Amber Mingus. I am a student at Kent State University and a Distribution Specialist at McMaster-Carr. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in December of 2014 and am currently working on my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I have worked as a tutor on Microsoft Excel and Access for a couple of semesters. I am looking to switch my career path to IT to fulfill my aspiration to have a job that challenges me. I enjoy learning new things, problem solving, and traveling.
Educational Goals
Complete my bachelor's degree in IT.
Earn certifications in CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Access Expert, and Microsoft Excel Expert.
Career Goals
Ideally, I would like to transition within my current company into the IT department upon graduation at entry-level.
Move up within the IT department the entry-level technician to Data Analyst within two years.
