I built my own personal computer from scratch. I had to do the research of all the components to determine if everything was compatible and if the overall build would serve my needs. My biggest focus was ensuring that there was still room for upgrades as I didn't want to limit myself with technology advancing as quickly as it does. This was great practice in seeing how everything fits together and how all the components fit together.
