This course is ideal for the student who has never studied English and who knows very few English words and phrases. The focus of the course is to build a basic working vocabulary that students can use in a variety of everyday situations. This course focuses on vocabulary rather than grammar, however, students will passively learn grammar concepts as they study the different topics.

Este curso es ideal para el estudiante que nunca ha estudiado inglés y que sabe muy pocas palabras y frases en inglés. El enfoque del curso es construir un vocabulario de trabajo básico que los estudiantes puedan usar en una variedad de situaciones cotidianas. Este curso se enfoca en el vocabulario más que en la gramática, sin embargo, los estudiantes aprenderán pasivamente conceptos gramaticales mientras estudian los diferentes temas.

This course is ideal for students who have some vocabulary in English but have difficulties expressing themselves in written and/or spoken forms. In this level, we will add on to basic vocabulary about everyday situations and we will begin to talk and write about present, future, and past events. We will also study basic grammar concepts that will be necessary as you continue to study English in the future.

Este curso es ideal para estudiantes que tienen algo de vocabulario en inglés pero tienen dificultades para expresarse de forma escrita y / o hablada.
