Complete a Close Read of page 73 "The Oregon Territory" from your textbook (The Washington Journey) and the Seattle Times article: "Canada, Seattle's neighbor to the north". Before you read: 

1. Number the paragraphs for each reading. Start with the number one and continue numbering sequentially until you reach the end of the text.

2. Circle Names of People, Names of Places, and or Dates
