Gateway electives are pre-engineering classes designed to expose the students many topics in the engineering field. Taking Gateway in middle school gives the student an opportunity to explore many engineering fields and to begin thinking which path they want to follow. After leaving our Gateway program students will know the design process and how to document their work, problem solving, collaboration, and presentations skills. Skills that they will use all through high school, college, and beyond.
