My hours aren't verified. What can I do?
If your hours have not been verified, that means that the Activity Contact has not verified your hours using the link that was included in the email or text that was sent to them or through their organization's x2VOL account.
We highly recommend telling your Activity Contact that they will be receiving an email from x2VOL (student-verification-noreply@x2vol.com) with subject of "Verification" so they can be on the lookout for it. This will help in getting your hours verified. This email is sent to the Activity Contact immediately after you click Submit for the Activity entry. You can also ask the Activity Contact to check their Spam folder to ensure they are not missing our emails.
If a few days have passed, and your hours have not been verified, you can do one of the following:
You can log in and RESEND your verification request for any non-verified activities ONE TIME. Go to your Activity Log, click the EDIT button next to your activity log entry and scroll down to the contact person sections to click the green, Resend Verification button.
You can log in and EDIT your verification contact email address if it was misspelled. Once you edit the contact resubmit the entry and a verification email will be resent.
Contact the Activity Contact and tell them to send an email to support@intellivol.com stating that they would like to verify your hours. Make sure they include your name, a description of the service you performed, the date, and the number of hours. This email must be sent from the Activity Contact email address that is listed in your entry.
If your hours have not been denied please log in on a web browser to X2Vol. Go to your Activity Log and click on the entry that was denied. Here you can review all comments made. This will tell you why it was denied and if you can resubmit or not. Please review the comments prior to emailing or coming by the library to talk to Mrs. Brentlinger. Most hours denied need a simple edit on your part and resubmit and then they will be approved.
First please be patient. Mrs. Marchalk and one other student work to approve hours. During the summer and certain times of year it is really hard to keep up with. Things to check before emailing or messaging Mrs. Marchalk.
Did you complete this year's orientation on the Green Cord home page? This must be completed annually and hours will not be approved until you have completed the orientation.
Is is summer time or a school break? If so, it may be after school starts back up before hours are approved. Mrs. Marchalk is the only one who monitors X2Vol during the summer so it may be longer than 14 days during this time.
Has it been more than 14 days since it was verified by the organization? X2Vol is NOT checked on a daily basis as Mrs. Marchalk and one student oversee it. So sometimes, especially if it is the weekend it will not be approved quickly so you may need to give it a little more time.
If it has been more than 14 days since the organization verified the hours, you have checked to confirm that the hours are verified in X2Vol then and that the hours are applied to the Green Cord goal then email Mrs. Brentlinger beth.brentlinger@kellerisd.net.
