TASPA is a professional association primarily comprised of Texas public school human resources (HR) administrators and support staff. Whether your district is small or large, with or without an HR department, TASPA provides the tools, strategies, and approaches necessary to effectively and efficiently support your district’s HR function, offering relevant and timely information on trends in the public school human resources profession.
American Association of School Personnel Administrators (AASPA)
AASPA is the only organization that specifically targets and represents school personnel professionals. If you are a personnel/human resource administrator, personnel support staff, superintendent, principal, or graduate student interested in this field, you will benefit from AASPA membership. The association provides resources, professional development activities, and networking opportunities to help you do your job efficiently, legally, and effectively.
Although AASPA’s history dates back to 1938 with the formation of the National Conference of Teacher Examiners, the association assumed its present name in 1959. AASPA now serves approximately 2,100 members from the United States and worldwide and is headquartered in Overland Park, KS (a suburb of Kansas City, MO).
