There are 8 class periods in the school day. The image to the right can help you visualize how the courses make up a student's school day.
Students may choose their level for core classes. Differentiated levels are explained below in the course information and in the Middle School Academic Planning Guide.
All students have an Advisory period in their schedule. They may have an alternate to advisory such as reading elective or another special education class.
Students may also choose a combination of electives to fill THREE periods. We highly recommend one of the electives is a PE credit (Athletics, PE, Unified PE, Tennis) as students must take a PE credit in either 7th or 8th grade.
