Cheetah Families,
Please complete the CEIC Self-Nomination Form by Tuesday to join the Campus Improvement Committee.
Crosswalk: At this time, the crossing guards at Glen Canyon and Black Hills are off duty at 3:55. If your student is in an after-school club and walks home, they may need to navigate the crosswalk independently.
Student Safety in the mornings: Staff is outside beginning at 7:40. If your student arrives earlier and plays tag around the bike racks, we ask that this discontinue. Concrete, metal posts, and streets full of cars are a potential combination for injury. This has been communicated to students, but please reinforce this expectation with them at home. I appreciate your support!
Please remember there is a no parking sign on the east side of Black Hills during pick up and drop off to allow buses to safely get through.
Micro-Survey results for campus communication: Thank you for your input! The majority preferred weekly newsletters and I have taken your feedback and added the lunch menu and a list of upcoming events (the calendar link is still active), and will add club dates and sign-up flyers.
Please review the Online Menu in the event any changes need to be made.

PGE Staff Shout Outs for the week:
Through Mrs. Walker, our child sees a world of possibilities rather than limitations. Thank you for being such a positive force in his life! Teaching is an art, but teaching special needs children is a masterpiece only a few can create. Thank you!
Mr. Thompson is an incredible educator in the way he sincerely and genuinely connects with the kids. He is a wonderful role model and he really invests everything into his students and their educational experience, social skills, personal goals, self-confidence, and abilities as a whole. In addition, his consistent communication with parents and guardians is superb. He responds promptly and kindly, and he even invests in our students and families outside of school hours as attends every afterschool event possible. His heart is made of pure gold and his quirky sense of humor is unmatched. He is a true asset to PGES and we are SO grateful for him and all that he pours into our students and school community!! 🌟💙
Click the PGE Staff Shout Out! to help us recognize and celebrate the wonderful staff at Park Glen! Your response will be shared with the staff member and may be featured in our publications/ social media. Any student names that are included may be omitted for confidentiality
