Park Glen PTA is VERY EXCITED to partner with The Dallas Opera in January 2025!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

 Park Glen Elementary School was one of only a few schools in the entire DFW Metroplex to be selected for their “Opera in a Suitcase” educational program - Three Little Pigs Workshop & Performance!!! 🐷🐷🐷🎶🎹  

What is it?? 

 It is a 2-Day FREE event/program, based around the famous children’s fairy tale, The Three Little Pigs!!! 

 On Day 1, students work with Teaching Artists to learn the basics of opera through an interactive workshop. Art supplies will be provided by The Dallas Opera. 

 On Day 2, students, faculty, staff and parents enjoy a FREE live performance of the children’s opera, Mozart’s “The Three Little Pigs.” It is the same fully staged production that they do at the Winspear Opera House…we have the honor of seeing it at PGE….The artists will be in full costume, hair and makeup!!! 

 We will literally be rolling out the red carpet for Day 2….so make sure you dress to impress!!! 💃🕺🏻📸 

 A light reception and PTA Reflections Award Ceremony will follow the show!! 🖼️🎨🏆🏅
