Your student status at Keio is “Short-Term International Student,” also called “STI Student.” (特別短期留学生)
STI students must engage in 14 credit hours of classes per week or an equivalent amount of research activities.
There are two documents that all Research students need to submit as follows

Course Registration is not mandatory. However, you may register courses if you wish.
The registration process is different depending on the graduate school as follows.

Make sure to consult with your academic advisor about your study plan.
Many courses offered by the faculty/ graduate school have limitations on the number of students and have a lottery for courses.
Priority is given to degree-seeking students (especially to students who belong to their faculty/graduate school where courses are offered).
The registration will be completed by submitting “the registration Form for Short-term International Students."

The form cannot be used to register for the Japanese Language Courses.

Once you register for courses, from the next day of the course registration, you will be able to access class materials and other information for the courses registered on Keio Learning Management System (K-LMS).
