"Buy an e-sim before leaving for Japan and pick it up at the airport so that you will be able to use Wi-Fi as soon as you arrive in Japan."
" Medicine. They are different and much lighter in Japan."
" Bring some cash. There are some shops and restaurants that only accept cash."
" Deodorants cost more in Japan, and are not strong enough."
