At 18 years old, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). After years of struggling with no answers, I finally received a diagnosis. Although, with the diagnosis, I found that there were few resources out there to help me manage the symptoms. I went into college with the dream of becoming a teacher. But, to my surprise, an introduction to nutrition class changed my whole academic path. Early on I sought out information to help my own health. Later I discovered a passion for sharing my knowledge with others and empowering them to take control over their lives and health. Many chronic health conditions and diseases can be managed effectively with a healthy lifestyles. Although my health journey started with trying to manage my symptoms, yours doesn’t have to. You can begin making choices to create a healthy lifestyle that empowers your future. Starting early to have a healthy life can prevent issues down the road. I think we would all benefit from putting more effort into preventative care!
I am here to support my clients nutrition goals, whatever they may be. I want to equip you with all the knowledge, tips and tricks to make life easier and put you in the driver seat of your health. Nothing happens overnight but with time, patience and self compassion we can certainly work on achieving your goals. I am so excited to meet and work with you.
