Drawing

This course focuses on developing fundamental drawing skills. Form and composition will be taught through exercise based on the elements of art and principles of design. This course explores various drawing media, techniques, and compositional elements with special emphasis on observational drawing. Students will be learning about artistic behaviors and there will be a high level of focus placed on process. Students will participate in class critiques, where they will both speak to the topic/theme of their own work and that of their classmates.
