Project Gutenberg is a library of over 60,000 free eBooks. Choose among free epub and Kindle eBooks, download them or read them online. You will find the world's great literature here, with focus on older works for which U.S. copyright has expired. Thousands of volunteers digitized and diligently proofread the eBooks, for enjoyment and education.
Quizizz is a lot like kahoot and Quizlet but comes with a huge directory of ready made content that can be edited by the teacher. There is a gamification feel to the tool that students love. Students don't need to create an account to play a game. Beware using their import Google Classroom feature. Last time I checked, it uploads ALL of your Google Classrooms and batch invites all students. This is not cool as it's better if you can control which classrooms to include. I would suggest that you just create a game and share the link with students to play anonymously. This would be for learning not for grading in this remote environment.
Ranger Rick is allowing free access to the public to specific content on their website.
