All students need to have a completed and signed Overnight Field Trip Form for the Washington, DC trip. A physical copy of this form will be sent home but you can view a copy of it now if you want to begin the process of preparing medication for the trip.
All students must have a signed Overnight Field Trip Form on file with the nurse prior to the trip.
Completed and signed Overnight Field Trip Form is to be turned into your Social Studies teacher by Thursday, April 16, 2026.
All prescription and/or over-the counter medication MUST be submitted to our school nurse in original containers by Friday, May 15, 2026.
It is very important that ALL medication be turned in to our school nurse, Mrs. Holobowicz, so that she has adequate time to get it all organized for distribution on the trip.
We cannot accept medication on the morning of departure.
State law requires that our school nurse package medications we transport across state lines. It must go through our school nurse in order for us to be allowed to distribute it.
Please make sure your child’s name and dosages are clearly labeled on any containers.
If you have questions, Mrs. Holobowicz, can be reached at 927-2197.
Students may not carry their own medications unless directed to do so by Mrs. Holobowicz.
Each bus leader will have some extra acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and antacids on hand.
The Overnight Field Trip Form is a two-sided form, so please make sure to fill out both sides.
If you need another copy, they are available in the main office at KRMS.
PLEASE make sure your child returns his/her form on time.
Your child will not be allowed to board a bus if the Overnight Field Trip Form has not been completed.
This is a district policy for any student going on an overnight field trip.
