Course Description:
This sociology course will introduce the fundamentals of sociology by focusing on the theories that build the foundation for this social science. In this course we’ll consider the actions and roles of human beings and how societal institutions and fabrics are considered, applied, and integrated in our daily lives. We’ll consider different theories, participate in research practices, and evaluate how we interact with the norms and pillars of human behavior and culture. This is a semester-long course that will challenge students to think critically and consider the world and reality around them.
