One of my many goals as a future educator is to be a source of inspiration for my students. I want my students to leave my classroom knowing that they can achieve anything that they put their minds to. I will lead my students by example, modeling tolerance and acceptance for students of all backgrounds in my classroom. I want my students to feel like our classroom is our community, and in our community, we lift each other up, never tear each other down.
This video is a PERFECT example of what it is to be a teacher who is an inspiration to their students!
My classroom will be a place where students are free to express themselves and pursue their interests. A natural part of growing is having growing curiosities, and I want to help foster the love of exploration in my students. They will have time to grow in the classroom and learn how to synthesize their interests with our curriculum. By giving them some freedom in the classroom, they will obtain a greater appreciation for learning.
