General Library Rules

The library-media center is a quiet place to study, do research, and read.

During the school day, please:

• Bring your study materials with you (books, paper, writing utensils, etc.).

• If you are not scheduled to be in study hall, you must present a hall pass signed by a teacher.

• Sign out when you leave the library to use the restroom, and sign in when you return.

• Maintain a quiet study atmosphere and be respectful of others.

• Treat resources with care and notify staff of any damage immediately.

• Do not bring uncovered liquids near the computers.

Students who are on the Loss of Privileges (LOP) list will not be allowed to use the library-media center.

Before and After school hours - Library Rules

During before and after school hours, please:

• Be respectful of others who may be studying, doing research, or reading.

• Treat resources with care and notify staff of any damage immediately.

• Do not bring uncovered liquids near the computers.

Failure to follow the rules will result in loss of library-media center privileges (i.e. you will be sent back to study hall for the rest of the week), detentions, and/or referral to the dean of students.
