Every October, the entire school excitedly comes together to celebrate the school’s birthday. Leading up to the big day on October 25th, each grade participated in special projects to honor the school. G1 students wrote birthday blessings to express their love for the place where they all feel cared for, while G2 students drew pictures of their favorite spots around campus. The fifth graders discovered the meaning behind the school badge. They learned that the circle on the badge shows that we’re all connected like one big family, and the bridge means we learn together in a fun and organized way.
“Happy Birthday, Kang Chiao,” said a group of KC students. They appreciated how the school prepares them for future adventures. Just as the school anthem symbolizes, “Kang Chiao brings me the world.”

On KCIS’s big day, October 25th, the whole school enjoys a full day of celebration filled with fun activities! The Halloween party gives everyone a fantastic way to celebrate the school’s anniversary and Halloween at the same time! “This year, the haunted house was themed “Monkeypox Outbreak,”adding even more spooky vibes,” said Mr. Payne. The booths included popular games like "Fear Box" and "Flying Pumpkin,” and all the teachers enjoyed a happy time with students.
Besides these student favorites, the interclass swimming competition added even more fun for everyone that day! “Middle and Higher graders showed teamwork by using kickboards in relay races,” said Mr. Rich. “Win or lose, I hope we all remember the best moments from today,” said one of the G6 students.
