Where is the conference?

Kentucky Country Day School (4100 Springdale Rd. | Louisville, KY 40241).

Who can attend the conference?

Anyone who registers! The conference is designed for teachers of all subjects, grades, and technology experience levels!

Can I present at the conference?

Yes! Use the link on the main page to submit a proposal. We consider and accept sessions on a rolling basis, so you'll hear back within a week. Tech-Teach-Learn is a great place for first-time presenters!

Also, all presenters get a complimentary boxed lunch as a small "thank you" for your time!

What sessions will be at the conference?

The list of session titles and descriptions will be posted on this site in May.

How much does the conference cost?

This year's event is free for all attendees!

Should I bring my laptop?

Yes! Bring a device, and a conference wifi network will be available. Most sessions are best with a laptop or Chromebook, but phones and iPads will also work for some.

What about lunch?

Bring your lunch or take a look at the lunch options at the Paddock Shops (<0.1 miles away). Presenters get a free boxed lunch, though!

Are there vending machines available?

No! Water bottle filling stations are available, but there are no vending machines on campus. Bring snacks & drinks as needed!

What should I wear?

The dress code is casual, but bring a sweater or sweatshirt to combat the AC! To attend sessions in the DeFL, you will need closed-toe shoes.

Can I get PD credit?

That depends on your district. Certificates of attendance will be provided for all attendees who sign in. These will be emailed after the conference. You will have to file this certificate with your district for credit.

Where can I communciate with other conference attendees?

Follow @GEGKentucky on Twitter and Tweet using #KCDTTL and #GEGKY. Or join our Facebook group and post there!

Will there be door prizes?

Yes! You must attend the final session to win! Some prizes will be drawn from all attendees, and others will be drawn from those participating in social media and other challenges introduced in the opening session!
