Tech-Teach-Learn is the "Technology for Teaching and Learning Conference.” It is an opportunity for educators to work collaboratively and to learn how to be more effective in using technology in the classroom. Tech-Teach-Learn offers sessions on a variety of technologies and topics. Sessions have included topics such as Google Workspace, websites and apps for subject-specific curriculum, iPads, Twitter, coding, app smashing, STEAM/makerspace curriculum, flipped lessons, social media, project-based learning, and intellectual property rights when using digital media.
The conference started as a "Google Meetup" in 2012 and evolved into a full conference starting in 2013. In 2020, COVID-19 took the conference in a new direction, and in 2021 KCD offered digital escape room workshops as a deep dive on one topic instead of a full in-person conference.
In 2022, Tech-Teach-Learn returned as an in-person conference in conjunction with the Kentucky Google Educator Group. Kentucky Country Day is excited to keep GEG Kentucky as a partner, and to welcome attendees from across Kentucky back to campus again in 2023!
