All Kindergarten students currently have the opportunity to be screened for the Gifted and Talented Program in Katy ISD. Screening will occur during the late fall and winter of the school year. Parents will be notified of the placement decision in February and classes will begin in March.
Notification letters will be sent home via email by the end of February for services to start the final week of February. As stated on the acceptance/non-acceptance letter, if you have questions or concerns, contact the Challenge teacher at your child's campus within the first fifteen (15) school days of receiving the notification letter.
