Gifted and Talented Screening for Current Non-Challenge 1st-4th Grade Students
1st – 4th Grade students currently have the opportunity to be screened for the Gifted and Talented Program in Katy ISD. Parents will be notified of the placement decision in May and services will begin in the fall of next school year.
Elementary GT Screening Process.pdfAs stated on the acceptance/non-acceptance letter, if you have questions or concerns, contact the Challenge teacher or counselor at your child's campus within the first fifteen (15) school days of the next school year.
If you are new to Katy ISD or re-enrolling after being unenrolled, contact the campus GT facilitator at valeriehang@katyisd.org.
*Screening takes a considerable amount of time and if your student qualifies, services begin the following school year.
